We get the commons at 5 for any set up that

information, Summer of 2009!!!

It's never to early to start thinking about
next year and we already have our Summer Camp set up. We're
inviting Gold Medal
Squared into our gym. I want to try something different and
see if we can get more interest by not traveling across the state and by
keeping the total cost down.
|

Not finalized yet, but it'll be less then
Gonzaga's camp (and there's no travel)!!!

Other Camp Info
|
There is a minimum of 24 players and no max.
I'm hoping to get at least 36 players by combining returning JHS players
and incoming Freshmen. We can have up to 56 players with our 4
courts.
|
|
We get 1 camp coach per 12 to 14 players on their
own court.
|
|
We can either put the coaches up in a Hotel and/or
someone can be a sponsor and have a coach stay at their house.
It's cheaper to have them stay at someone's house and it could be a lot
of fun.
|
|
NEW!!! I
still want to run Open Gyms once a week (may not Wednesday if I can get
more players there on another day) and have DJ come in a train us during
the Summer. Last Summer was very successful and after talking to
other coaches we had the best turnout. Combine this with our
Summer Camp and we should be ready to surprise everyone next year.

Paula Ryan
gets a huge thanks for putting this on and for raising
$500 for
Jackson Volleyball. Her goal is to raise another
$500 through
continued sales during the holiday season ending on
December 10th.

Fundraising Info
|
"Why do we have to fundraise?"
Because there's not enough money in the School District for everyone to
get what they ask for. We need Equipment
such as Nets, Poles, and even
Uniforms. And if we don't raise our own money, then we
can't improve our program the way we deserve it.
|
|
This is
not work, it's part of what's make Jackson Volleyball special.
We want other schools to come into our gym and be impressed by what we
have and how we look. We want to set the bar higher then anyone
else. It's about Pride in what we do and how we make Jackson Volleyball
better.
|
|
Here are a
few things our program needs to purchase this fall.
|
Jerseys and Sweats will be ordered through
Smack Sportswear once
again this year.

Last years Varsity Jerseys will
be used for either just the C-Team or for the C-Team and JV Team.
The Varsity Team and maybe the JV Team will be ordering new Jerseys in a
different style this year.
|
|
We'll order Sweats (the same as
last years) for those not on Varsity who need them. Such as new
players to the program or player that have lost them from last year.
The Varsity Team will order new Sweats in a different style this year.

|
1
Net System (Poles, Net, Pads) from
Jaypro. Lighter and way easier to set up day after day.
Plus, some of the Equipment we have now is getting old and isn't as safe
anymore. We need to replace this now so all three teams have safe
equipment.
|
|
2 Folding Referee Stand and Pads. Saves room
in an already cluttered closet and it's easier to move.
|
|
And beyond
the big important stuff, things like Awards, Balls to toss to the crowd
at home games, Tees, Jackets, Sweats, etc. will help make our program
fun and unique.
|
|
|
This is our
program and we can make it into whatever we want it to be. Make
the effort and show our league just how great Jackson Volleyball really
is!!!

Anyone who wants to make a
straight donation to our program can do so by making out a Check or
Money Order to 'Jackson Volleyball Booster'.
