of Season Thanks!!!
| Well
not only did the Varsity team make it to State, we brought home an
8th place Trophy!!! And we beat Kamiak to do it. I'll
have Scores and Stats posted soon. |

I
would like to say thanks to all the Parents who made the trip and positively
supported the team and their daughter. It was great to have
you all there to share in the joy of playing hard and earning a
Trophy. You all have great daughters and I'm lucky to have
coached them on this team. |

Thanks
to the Parents on the other 2 teams as well. You did a
fantastic job of showing you cared during the entire season.
With your support we'll continue to grow stronger and more united
for years to come. |

Thank
to Sandy Marasigan for everything she has done for this program
this past year. All the way back to organizing Summer Stuff
with Camp and Training with DJ, to giving everyone team shirts to
wear at State. You Rock!!! |

of course I need to thank, Brice, Ashley, Carol, and Max.
Every successful program has a staff full of hard working and
dedicated coaches and I have the best staff in the league. I
thank all of you for helping me develop Jackson Volleyball into
the powerhouse it is today. And to think next year is only
going to get better, and the year after that, and so on. I
know we'll all miss Max as he leaves for college next year, Good
Luck!!! |
New November 15th
Club
Season

The
club season is already underway (tryouts for 14 and under aged
teams happened a week ago), but now it's time for the U15, U16,
U17, and U18 tryouts. Most will be happening this weekend
(Nov. 21st & 22nd). I know by a show of hands in the
spring that a lot of you have played club in the past. This
means most of you may already have a place you are trying out
for. For those of you who don't, or for those who want to
try a different club this year, I have a few suggestions.

This

find dates, times, and contact information so you can be
prepared to try out for as many clubs as you can.
Don't just try out for one club because if you don't make
it, you may not have another opportunity elsewhere. |

I
am the Director of Volleyball for Sabotage Sports and just
like at Jackson, I'm in charge of putting together the
Coaching Staff and organizing our Systems and
Philosophies. We have great coaches that implement
the same systems and philosophies that have helped Jackson
become a leader in WesCo. We're also going to train
with SoloSpike and we have a Mental Coach on staff to help
make you stronger mentally (more info can be found on our
site). You are all great volleyball players and I
would love to have you play for SVB. If you like the
things we do at Jackson, come
try out for us. |

Fundraising Info for
2009!!!
|
"Why do we have to fundraise?"
Because there's not enough money in the School District for everyone to
get what they ask for. If we don't raise our own money, then we
can't improve our program the way we need to.

This is
not work, it's part of what's make Jackson Volleyball special.
We want other schools to come into our gym and be impressed by what we
have and how we look. We want to set the bar higher then anyone
else. It's about Pride in what we do and how we make Jackson Volleyball
better.

September 12th
|
Here is
the next big purchase we need to make before next year (this year if we
can afford it).
| 2 Folding Referee Stand and Pads.
Saves room
in an already cluttered closet, they're easier to move, and
most importantly the old
stands are not safe anymore.

Cost-
$725 for
1 Stand and set of Pads
|

| And beyond
the big important stuff, things like Awards, Balls to toss to the crowd
at home games, Tees, Sweats, etc. will help make our program
fun and unique. This is our
program and we can make it into whatever we want it to be. Make
the effort and show our league just how great Jackson Volleyball really
is!!!
